The Molise sea is one of the cleanest in Italy. Not everyone knows this, but the Molise coastline contains a real treasure that is perhaps still too undervalued.
The quality of Molise’s bathing water is excellent, according to a recent Arpa Molise monitoring report. Let’s go into detail and then find out where to go to the sea in Molise.
Monitoring the Molise Sea
Arpa Molise always monitors the conditions of the Molise sea, assessing the quality of the water. In order to do so, four coastal municipalities of Molise were taken into consideration: Campomarino, Montenero di Bisaccia, Termoli and Petacciato.
After taking samples at some sampling points, the result was more than satisfactory. In general, the ratings were satisfactory, ranging from excellent (83% of samples), good (13%) and sufficient (4%).
Compared to 2020, the poor rating has disappeared showing that the quality of Molise’s waters has improved even more. Anyone looking for a clean sea and quiet beaches will find everything they want on the Molise coast.
