Guna Beach Club

Guna Beach Club: quality, glamour and beauty at Torre Guaceto

Guna is a Sanskrit word that can have several meanings: it literally means a rope or intertwined threads. In a broader sense, this term indicates the bond between an individual and the world around him or her and is often translated as ‘quality’. Quality is precisely what characterises the Guna Beach Club.

Salento’s exclusive beach

One of the most beautiful beaches in Valle d’Itria, located in the Brindisi hamlet of Torre Guaceto, Guna Beach Club is an inviting stretch of fine sand lapped by a beautiful blue sea.

Beach umbrellas and sunbeds, all well-spaced to ensure maximum comfort, are placed on a natural lawn terrace close to the beach. Guna Beach is a beach club offering quality services for those who want to experience a typical Apulian summer.

The excellent attention to detail and the various services offered to guests make this beach one of the most exclusive in the whole Puglia. The Guna Beach is equipped with deckchairs positioned in the shade of trees, comfortable sunbeds sheltered by straw beach umbrellas and romantic gazebos for extra comfort. On the beach there are also a bar and restaurant, a wellness area, and various activities are organised to allow guests to spend a relaxing and fun day.

Sports enthusiasts can use the Sporting Club, where they can play beach volleyball and beach tennis, or take surfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle and golf lessons.

All Guna Beach Club services

The Guna Beach Club offers a host of services including the possibility of reserving a beach umbrella and sunbed using the Cocobuk platform; it’s quick and easy. What are you waiting for? Let the summer begin!

there is a restaurant on the beach where you can try Apulian cuisine. It is located on a lawn terrace and offers sophisticated dishes. Traditional Salento dishes cooked only with typical Apulian products can be enjoyed seated or directly on the beach.

For those who prefer a quicker but still tasty lunch, the American Bar offers several options: such as frise, sandwiches, salads and piadinas. The Guna Beach Club restaurant is also open for dinner, when the sun sets and the lights illuminate the sand dunes, creating a unique atmosphere.

Guna Beach Club is crystal-clear sea, good food but especially relaxation. The beach establishment has a wellness area where you can be pampered with relaxing massages and where you can take care of your body with exclusive treatments. Moreover, the Guna Beach organises Pilates, TRX and Yoga courses all week long.

Wedding on the beach in Puglia at Guna Beach

As if that were not enough, Guna Beach is the perfect location for your dream beach wedding.

The summer, the sea, tables and chairs set on the golden sand and first-class service: a tropical location where two people can celebrate eternal love.

Guna Beach Club is Dog Friendly

Guna Beach Club has a large area reserved for those arriving in the company of their pets.

The Dog Beach is an area where animals can play freely and take a dip with their beloved owners. Dog sitters and a vet are also available if requested.

Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve

From the Guna Beach Club, it is possible to reach Torre Guaceto on foot or by bicycle.

The Nature Reserve of Torre Guaceto covers about 110 hectares and has one of the richest ecosystems in the Mediterranean. The Protected Area contains many different habitats and includes a marine and a terrestrial reserve.

Mediterranean scrub dominates the environment, and among the high dunes and freshwater springs can be found many animal and plant species. It is home to many birds such as the marsh harrier, kingfisher and red heron; you could also find reptiles and amphibians.

The protected area of Torre Guaceto is part of the WWF oases and in 2019 received a prestigious worldwide recognition becoming part of the Blue Parks. In this unique ecosystem, shrubs, herbaceous plants and trees such as juniper, myrtle and holm oak grow.

A symbol of the reserve, the Aragonese Tower dominates the sand dunes and the sea of Brindisi. Built during the 16th century under the reign of Charles V, with its 16 metres it is the highest of the towers in Terra d’Otranto. It is now home to a museum where visitors can admire an artistic representation of a Roman ship made by one of most famous Italian shipwrights.
